Every food has its wine and every wine manages to express itself completely if matched with the most appropriate foods. It sounds plain and simple when you say it like that. But there is no lofty method for fully understanding a wine, its varietal features, and the vinification, clarification and in some cases maturing process.  

The extraordinary thing is that you immediately think of pairing such strongly territorial wines, like Kettmeir, with the typical flavours and dishes of the Alto Adige and South Tyrolean cooking and tradition. It’s right to do so, but the strength of these great wines lies in also easily adapting to international cuisine and dishes from other regions.
