“Textures of Wine” is the game that Kettmeir has created to explore and enhance the multisensory experience, flanking the taste, tactile and aromatic perceptions of wine with the tactile experience of textiles. This entertaining experiment is exciting and educational as it explores surprising hidden aspects of human perception.
The date for this tactile journey of the senses is Wednesday 9 May 2012 and the venue is Enocratia in Milan.
Chef Eugenio Boer will be proposing recipes matched with Kettmeir wines as he sets off on a journey through Crunchiness, Softness and other sensations.
The evening’s line-up includes:
Metodo Classico Brut “Athesis”, Alto Adige DOC, with a stick of chicken livers, maracuya and Bronte pistachios
Chardonnay “Maso Reiner”, Alto Adige DOC 2009, with smoked butter, Parmigiano Reggiano and sage risotto
Lagrein Riserva “Athesis”, Alto Adige DOC 2008, with venison in blackberry and pan pepato sauce, a classic purée and morels
Moscato Rosa “Athesis” Alto Adige 2009, with strawberry, pea and rhubarb tartlets
